Welcome to the FAQ page for Haven RP, a South African-based whitelisted GTA V roleplay server. Below you'll find answers to the most common questions about the server, how to join, and what makes us unique.
🚫 Do you offer in-game purchases for real money?
No. Haven RP does not offer any in-game incentives, items, or advantages in exchange for real-life money. We strongly believe in a fair, non-pay-to-win environment where every player has an equal opportunity to thrive and create stories.
💸 How is the server funded?
Haven is completely self funded by the team however we do accept optional donations via Ko-fi. All donations are used exclusively for:
- Server hosting costs
- Script licensing and premium plugin purchases
- Community development tools and services
Donating does not grant you in-game perks.
🌍 Where is the server hosted?
Haven RP is hosted in South Africa, providing low latency and stable performance for local players.

- Once approved, you’ll gain access to the connection details
📝 How long does whitelist approval take?
Approval typically takes between 24–72 hours depending on staff availability and application quality. We recommend being detailed and genuine in your answers.
🎮 Do I need FiveM to play?
Yes. Haven RP is built on the FiveM platform. You will need:
- A legitimate copy of GTA V
- FiveM client installed
- Whitelisted Discord-linked account
🧑🤝🧑 Is this a public or private server?
Haven RP is a whitelisted private server. This means you must apply to join, but the server itself is free to access once approved.
📜 What kind of RP can I expect?
We focus on immersive, character-driven stories. Players are encouraged to build narratives, join or form organizations, engage in legal or illegal RP, and contribute to an evolving world with minimal OOC interruptions.
🆕 I've never tried FiveM roleplay. Can I still play on Haven RP?
Of course! We are very welcoming to newcomers and have a wonderful community willing to show you the ropes and get you comfortable with RP!
